On Stockholm Streetstyle!

Photo by Daniel Troyse on Stockholm Streetstyle

My look on the last day of Milan Fashion Week, snitched the photo from carolinesmode.com/stockholmstreetstyle!
I felt like I had already used everything in my suitcase and that nothing was fun anymore, but I managed to put together a last effort for the Missoni show :) The pants are from the upcoming Matthew Williamson for Lindex collection (coming to stores next saturday), clutch is Marimekko, shoes Topshop, top Bikbok and the jacket is Henrik Vibskov. Of course, after a 10-day long party and work filled stay in Italy I have the flu AGAIN! I have a million things to do so I'm trying to eat super healthy and get enough sleep in these days. Loads of fruit and veggies for me!

Milanon muotiviikon viimeisen päivän asu, kiitokset kuvasta kuuluu carolinesmode.com/stockholmstreetstyle:lle!
:( Täällä Suomessa on muuten jo ihan äärettömän kylmä brr! Haluan takaisin lämpöön..

Leaving for Italia! ♥

Hello from Helsinki-Vantaa airport! :D I have a few minutes to write before my flight leaves. To start off, flying out on a Friday 13th was BAD idea. First thing when I got here at the airport, my bag was accidentally whisked off on the luggage-trail without the destination tag AND I didn't even have my name on it... Luckily I got here early so after half an hour the bag was return to me and I had to check in again! Hope the rest of my trip works out without complications, I am most definetely not a supersticious person but who knows what more might happen today after my two flights and a bus trip from Milan to Turin...? Wish me luck! I'll be updating from Italy next time, woop woop!

Terveisiä Helsinki-Vantaa lentokentältä :D Tässä on vielä pari minuuttia aikaa ennen boardausta, ajattelin ehtiä kirjoittamaan että matkan varaaminen perjantai 13 päivälle oli maailman HUONOIN idea. Matkalaukkuni lähti nimittäin yllättäen check-in hihnalla karkuun ilman destination-tarraa tai nimilappua.. Onneksi tulin ajoissa, ja puolen tunnin etsinnän jälkeen henkilökunta palautti rakkaan vaatteita pullollaan olevan Samsoniteni takaisin, come to mama!
Toivottavasti loppumatka (kaksi lentoa ja bussimatka Milanosta Torinoon) sujuu ongelmitta, wish me luck ;) Seuraavan kerran kirjoittelen ihanasta Italiasta, woop woop!

Fashion Week FW13 Favourites

Made a little selection of my F/W13 Fashion Week Favourites from London, Milan and New York so far. Feel so inspired, I think I'm going to use these images as inspiration already now, it's perfect for the cold Tokyo weather!

Oh Oh OH how I love Phillip Lims casual chic laid-back looks! I would do anything to get my hands on that Phillip Lim coat and sport it next fall. Army green leather combined with white and grey is also a winner!
Prabal Gurung managed to make a very feminine version of the army trend, I haven't really liked the peplum trend this season but seen it like that, in a heavy olive green fabric makes me want to dress like that too!

WOW! Very unlike Paul Smith I think, but so great! The Pant-Suit trend is going to be big this summer, and I like how he took that concept and made it more oversized and casual.  And as in the Dagmar show, Paul Smith also makes me crave for that deep, intense violet.
Note to self: Get Pink or red suit. NOW.

The Blumarine coats were great this season! In cold Tokyo right now I just want to wrap myself up in one of those fluffy, soft, warm jackets. The La La Berlin boots also caught my attention, so great! I can smell a DIY-option for them...

Glad to see prints are continuing into next season. I think it's more fun when fashion isn't too dark and serious ;) Definately going to use that matching turtleneck-sweater thing next season, and I would love a La La Berlin like print pattern coat to cheer up everyday dressing! A piece like that gives any kind of outfit a kick.
Roberto Cavalli also surprised me, I usually don't fall for that over-the-top-italian-glam fashion, but seen it like this in only black and white with different patterns, materials, textures and sparkles, it could be optimized and made into a bit more casual, cool look.

back from milan!

Ah feels good to be back home again!
Micam was fun, ESPECIALLY seing the whole Jeffrey Campbell f/w 2012 collection!! my gosh it was breathtaking! I can tell you there´s gonna be a lot in store for the new designs, wooden, architecture-inspired heels and much more!!

Unfortunately they didn´t let anyone take pics of the shoes (i tried believe me). :/

Anyway, I´m exhausted and off to bed in a minute (gonna write more tomorrow), but I wanted to share something that I just saw on the net with you guys first!

This RAD HOURANI Collection made my jaw DROP, he used only 6 garments to create 22 looks for his f/w collection, and it´s mindblowing!!!

check it out everyone!the video is cool aswell!
