Lumi

The accessory brand for women, Lumi is the product of finnish Sanna Kantola and french Bruno Beaugrand, and founded in New York in 2000.
The brand started with the production of snow-white felt for hats and bags (hence the name LUMI=SNOW in finnish), and later expanded to leather goods and to another brand for men, Mhann.
They now sell in 25 countries, and have their headquarters in Helsinki and New York.

My thesis collection Living Walls.


"A wall is a usually solid structure that defines and protects an area" Wikipedia

People have since ancient times, protected their territory and homes with walls, just as they have protected their bodies with clothing.
Walls give protection, give privacy, but also isolation. Just as clothing.

This collection is about protecting, covering and UNcovering your body, using techniques and textures with inspiration from walls.

Bye bye Barcelona, Hello Stockholm!

After two years it is time to say goodbye to wonderful Barcelona and some of the most wonderful friends!

Now I´m graduated, and officially a fashion designer! Time to look for work.
