Golden Green

Coat/Monki*, Pants/Zara, Shirt/Minimum,* Shoes/Puma* (=*gifted)

Monki challenged us to do this fall-jacket collabo with them, and I got so inspired by this green-yellowish jacket! I've never had a coat in this colour before since it's so easy to just go with neutral colours like black or grey that go with everything. But it's such a breath of fresh air to throw this on top of almost any outfit, since it either surprisingly matches the other colours, or mismatches them in a kind of cool way.  Plus, it's much more fun to welcome the cold winter with bright colours than the usual gloomy dark palettes! Also super stoked about my new kicks, the Puma Suede Classic is such a... well, classic model! 

Monki haastoi meidät hauskaan syys-takki yhteistyöhön, ja ihastuin aivan totaalisesti tähän vihertävään takkiin! Minulla ei ole koskaan ollut tämän väristä takkia kun on yleensä niin helppo sortua mustaan tai harmaaseen väriskaalaan joka toimii kaiken kanssa, mutta tämä hauska väri todellakin toi raikkaan tuulahduksen päivittäisiin asuihini. Suureksi yllätyksekseni se toimiikin melkein kaikkien värien kanssa, ja se toimii jopa kun se vastakkaisvärinä "coolisti" riitelee asun muiden värien kanssa. Lupaan näyttää kuvin mitä tarkoitan tällä epäsopimattomuudella :D (Hienoa suomenkieltä taas, olkaa malttillisia tälle suomenruotsalaiselle hehe!) Olen super innoissani myös uusista lenkkareistani, Puma Suede Classic on niin... noh, klassinen malli. Tällainen ikoninen asuste toimii aina.

Marimekko AW15

Preview of the absolutely gorgeous fall/winter 2015 collection from iconic Finnish label Marimekko at the legendary Savoy-restaurant in Helsinki this morning! This was the company's first collection with it's new creative director Anna Teurnell, who previously has designed for &Other Stories and H&M. I've always been a fan of orange so I completely fell in love with the cool orange jacket and the sleek maxi-dresses from the collection.

Esimakua ihanasta Marimekon syys/talvi 2015 mallistosta joka esiteltiin tänään aamulla Ravintola Savoyssa! Mallisto on Marimekon ja uuden luovan johtajan Anna Teurnellin(joka on suunnitellut m.m H&Mlle ja &Other Storiesille) ensimmäinen, ja mielestäni hän on tuonut todella raikkaan tuulahduksen Marimekon imagoon. Olen aina pitänyt oranssista ja rakastuin siksi täysin malliston oranssiin takkiin sekä super-sleek maksimekkoihin..

Fall Inspiration: Tiger Of Sweden

Why can't it be fall already?? Going back to see the F/W Fashion Weeks I just can't wait to start layering stuff in yummy yummy fall colours and cool materials. The Tiger of Sweden show is basically my F/W dream dressing.

Some details from yesterdays Zalando presentation! I fell mostly for the shoes (my eternal weekness), but they also had some great designers like Rodebjer and BACK, not to forget about the their own Zalando-label. Silver and gold details are still going storng both in shoes, accessories and clothing! The furry striped sweater with golden knit is a must-have!

DIY Metal Belt

 

This aluminium belt was so easy to make! I just asked the boys at a hardware shop to cut me a piece with the measurments i needed, and then i bent it to fit my waist! Super easy, and i love how minimalistic it is and how well it goes with everything in my closet.

Perfect Fall Coat

 

Brics, 130€

Fall has already arrived in Scandinavia, and I am TIRED of all the black coats!! When a whole country gets a bit greyish and faints away, the only thing that can cheer me up is colour.

I was ecstatic when I found this orange and pale baby blue wool coats from BRICS, and you can also find the model in white, striped, (black) and a yummy pale light yellow.

Love their lookbook and the styling, layering in the same colour-scheme is definately going to be my guideline for dressing this fall!

This smooth, silky editorial got me by storm, Suvi's perfect skin and shiny hair is definately going to be my inspiration this winter. Combined with the strong leather pieces such as the bowtie and the cap, this is surely going to show the way in this seasons accessories.

Finally the styling I did with photographer Rikard Lilja is on TheFashionsito.com! :) it's always wonderful and exciting to see a final result from a job being published, especially now when it was my first time styling menswear. I like it though! The more simple and clean the better, no fuss here!

I've been working my ass off doing stylings and growing my portfolio as my move to Tokyo is closing up, and it feels like i'm finally coming closer to my goal!
