Finland has been lacking a site like this since forever, and I'm super happy and honored to be a part of this fashionista heaven. Tadaa, Birthday Girl outfit! Today I'm officially nearly going on 30, 26 years-old my gosh! Years pass by so quickly and even though I've been around and seen and done a lot, my bucket list keeps on growing and there's still loads of things I want to do before I hit that round 3-0... Trying not to stress about it and take everything one day at a time as always ;) Sorry for the bad updating, loads of fun projects ahead so I'm a busy busy bee. Can't complain! :)

Tadaa, synttärityttö-outfit! Tänään olen ihan oikeasti lähempänä kolmekymppisiä, täytin 26 vuotta! Jestas miten nopeasti vuodet vierivät, ja vaikka olenkin nähnyt ja kokenut paljon bucket listani kasvaa kasvamistaan ja on vielä paaaaaljon juttuja joita haluan tehdä ennenkuin saan sen pyörän 30 vuotta täyteen.. Yritän olla stressaamatta ja otan päivän kerrallaan niinkuin aina ;) Pahoittelen vähäisiä päivityksiä, on ollut taas paljon kivoja projekteja ja kiirettä pitää. Can't complain! :)

Some details from yesterdays Zalando presentation! I fell mostly for the shoes (my eternal weekness), but they also had some great designers like Rodebjer and BACK, not to forget about the their own Zalando-label. Silver and gold details are still going storng both in shoes, accessories and clothing! The furry striped sweater with golden knit is a must-have!

Pari detail-kuvaa eilisestä Zalando-mallistonesittelystä! Rakastuin eritysiseti kenkiin (ikuinen heikkoukseni), mutta näytteillä oli myös paljon ihania vaatemerkkejä kuten Rodebjer, BACK ja Zalandon oma mallisto. Kulta ja hopea näkyy edelleen vahvasti niin kengissä, asusteissa kuin vaatteissakin. Toisen kuvan pörröinen raidallinen neule on aivan pakko saada!

Basic Monday ja Helsinkiin muutto!

 

 

It's been almost 30 degrees in Finland today jeez! Too hot to do anything but sit by the river and eat cherries with Laura ;) We've been discussing our Project X today... Might have some fun news to tell you all in a while!! Some big news from the weekend is.... I got a flat in Helsinki!! Woop woop! Me and my bf are moving in there next week, can't wait! How have your weekends been? Is it this hot everywhere else too?


Melkein 30astetta lämmintä tänään herregud! Aivan liian kuuma tehdä mitään muuta kuin syödä jokirannassa kirsikoita Lauran kanssa ;) Päästiin aloittamaan tänään meidän Project X:n suunnittelua, saatte kuulla kohta mitä me oikein ollaan keksimässä! Viikonloppuna sitouduin muuten ensimmäistä kertaa elämässäni vuoden vuokrasoppariin... Osoite ja kämppä nyt virallisesti Helsingissä!! Woop Woop! Miten teidän viikonloppu on mennyt? My take on the animal print trend! Found this funny mix-material sweater in a small shop in Harajuku, and I couldn't resist it's softness! (Even though here in Tokyo I feel INCREDIBLY boring dressed only in black and white). Now packing is on the to-do list, I'm flying tomorrow bright and early!

Tulkintani eläinprintti trendistä! Löysin tämän hassun paidan pienestä putiikista Harajukusta, enkä voinut vastustaa sen ihanaa pehmeää kangasta. Olen yrittänyt välttää mustavalko-pukeutumista täällä Tokiossa, näytän kaikkiin söpöihin japanilaisiin verrattuna niin tylsältä silloin! Late Night Meal.

After stuffing myself with turkey and ham the whole Christmas, I am definately having a vegetarian month in January. Well, almost vegetarian since my boyfriend sometimes craves the lasagne I make or an occasional bacon&eggs sunday breakfast ;)

I've been home alone tonight, so I took all the time in the world to carefully select groceries at the store, and making a long-cooking delicious vegetarian soup! And, incredibly I'm also posting about it here :D Haven't done food-posts before so please tell me what you think!!

You need:
Cherry Tomatoes
Jar of ecological Peeled or Crushed tomatoes
Garlic
Yellow Onion
Basil, Sugar, Thyme, Blackpepper
Olive oil
Vegetable Broth
Cream
Chevré or Feta Cheese

Roast the cherry tomatoes with some garlic and olive oil in the oven for about 10 minutes. It gives the soup a more deep flavour! Take the chopped onion and fry it in olive oil, thyme and basil until it softens. If you fry the seasoning with the garlic, it gives a strong flavour to the soup! Throw in the cherry tomatoes, the peeled tomatoes, a cup of water (and a dash of white wine if you happen to have it at home), a spoon of sugar and some vegeatble broth. You can also add some chopped garlic. Let it boil softly for 20-30minutes. Then mix the soup with a blender, add some cream and let it boil for another 5minutes. Garnish with more basil and thyme, Chevré Cheese and serve with bread! YUM!!

I also made some homemade croissants with cheese to follow (and some with chocolate for dessert!)

Christmas Time.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Xmas! The last years I have been a bit anti-christmassy, since it has become such a commercial festivity in the past years. It shouldn't be about stress, money, buying presents etc, but about spending time with the family, having a loong dinner together with no hurry. I'm happy and I feel lucky I can spend time with my dear sisters and mum, and tomorrow I'll be with my boyfriends family. I dont need ANY material gifts as long as I have the people I love around me! ♥
