A quick pic of how I looked yesterday at the Helsinki Fashion Weekend party! There were so many people to meet and greet that I didn't have time to snap an entire outfit picture, but I was wearing my new black Carin Wester top I got from Zalando yesterday morning, what perfect timing!! The hair is made by my talented friend Anne Flink, she came up with the perfect solution for a messy-looking, yet feminine hairdo. Tältä minä siis näytin eilen Helsinki Fashion Weekend & Paparazzin 30v juhlissa! Sain täydellisenä ajoituksena Zalandolta tilaamani Carin Wester topin eilen aamulla,  ja kävin ihanan Anne Flinkin luona Saxcé-kampaamolla kaunistautumassa iltaa varten. Sekainen ponnarikampaus tuntui sopivan juhlalliselta vaikka kuitenkin omalta tyyliltäni! Hair Tutorial: Wavey Curls & Vidal Sassoon Contest!

 

I've gotten so many questions about how I make my wavey hairdo, so when Chictopia together with Vidal Sassoon asked me to create a summer hairstyle I decided to do this super easy 10-minute hairdo that makes even the simplest of outfits fabulous!

Olen saanut paljon kysymyksiä näistä aaltokiharoista, joten kun Chictopia ja Vidal Sassoon pyysivät minua näyttämään ehdottoman kesäkampaukseni tiesin heti että halusin tehdä tämä super easyn, 10-minuutin kampauksen. Pahin pelkoni on olla tylsä, ja nämä kiharat pelastavat yksinkertaisimmankin outfitin tylsyydeltä! :)

 

The products I used for this hairdo was the Vidal Sassoon Repair One Minute Mask and Repair & Finish Spray, to give shine and softness to the curls. Curls are always more gorgeous when they're smooth and silky, and these gave just the right boost to my dry ends.

Käytin Vidal Sassoonin Repair One Minute Mask and Repair ja Repair Finish Spraytä, jotta saisin hiukset näyttämään mahdollisimman kiiltäviltä ja terveiltä. Kiharat näyttävät aina parhaimmilta silkkisen pehmeinä, ja nämä kaksi tuotetta antoivat tarvittavan boostin kuiville latvoilleni.

Tokyo Fashion Week Day 3: The Dark Side.

Day 3 check, two more days to go! I wont deny my thighs are shaking and certainly feeling the harsh Tokyo streets and stairs after walking around in heels all the time haha! I knew today would be rainy so I wore a casual outfit and tied my hair Princess Leia style. Also tried to make a kind of a smokey eye, but I'm worthless with eyeshadows so this was the poor result!! (Feel free to link some tutorials to smokey-eye makeup if you know any good ones!)
The last pic was taken by my boyfriend while some hectic streetstyle photographers were taking pictures haha! I look so embarrassed!

Kolmas FW päivä takana, kaksi jäljellä! Nyt alkaa reisissä tuntumaan Tokion kovat kadut ja tuhannet rappuset, kun olen pyörinyt yötä päivää koroissa hahaa! Tiesin että tänään sataisi joten turvauduin melkein kokomustaan asuun ja tähän prinsessa Leia kampaukseen. On niin kiva kun ei tarvitse huolehtia hiuksista yhtään koko päivän aikana. Kokeilin myös toista kertaa elämässäni smokey-eye meikkiä ja tässä tulos, olen ihan toivoton luomivärien kanssa äh!! (Linkatkaa mielellään meikki tutorialeja jos tiedätte jotain hyviä)
Poikaystävä otti viimeisen kuvan samalla kuin pari hullua streetstyle-valokuvaajaa nappasi minusta kuvia, näkyykö miten paljon mua nolotti? :D

I DIYed this chain hairdo already at Stockholm Fashion Week, but I didn't manage to snap a picture back then so I thought I'd share it now! Originally, I had attached three different size gold chain to haircombs, but since my hair is so typically scandinavian and very thin, on my hair the chain-hairdo works better with the chains attached to normal bobbypins. This way you can also use the chains with much more variety. So easy, so cheap- so chic!


Olin ajatellut jo Tukholman Muotiviikolla näyttää tämän super-helpon ketjukampauksen, mutta en ehtinyt silloin napata siitä kuvaa! Alkuperäisessä DIY-Ketjukorussa olin kiinnittänyt ketjut hiuskampoihin, mutta ne näkyivät aivan liikaa ohuen tukkani alta. Pinneihin kiinnitetyt ketjut sopivat ainakin minun hiuksille paljon paremmin, ja niitä voi näin myös vaihdella ja käyttää monella eri tapaa! Tosi helppoa, halpaa, ja piristää ihmeellisesti arkilookkeja :)
