Shirt and Skirt/Sonia by Sonia Rykiel from XO Shop , Shoes/Asos

Last sunday's little roadtrip also contained a short visit to the lovely XO Clothing store in Porvoo, where I got this fun shirt/short set from Sonia by Sonia Rykiel! It's amazing how a statement piece like this is really so effortless, and works for every occasion. I loooove prints and since this is bright red, it felt like it's just a tad too much for my style at first sight, though I changed my mind as soon as I tried it on! We definitely need to get more out of our comfort zones and try colours and cuts we don't usually wear.

Viime sunnuntain roadtrip sisälsi myös käynnin ihanaan XO Clothing liikkeeseen, josta sain tämän upean Sonia by Sonia Rykiel silkki kauluspaita-shortsi kombon. Näin pirteässä printissä on jotenkin aina erityinen olo, ja tämä toimikin eilen mahtavasti päivästä iltamenoihin! Punainen väri tuntui rekillä nähtynä aivan liian räikeältä, mutta muutin mieleni heti kun koitin asua. Note to self: Pitää astua enemmän mukavuusalueiden ulkopuolelle ja koittaa värejä ja erikoisempia leikkauksia useammin.

We went for a small sunday-roadtrip yesterday with my boyfriend, to a city called Porvoo (about one hour from Helsinki). I felt really strange since I haven't worn pants this wide in probably 15 years, but the eye sure gets used to everything!

Käytiin eilen Porvoossa poikaystäväni kanssa pienellä visiitillä, oli niin ihana aurinkoinen sää! Kuvissa eilinen outfit, tuntui hassulta tepastella mukulakivikaduilla näissä palazzo-housuissa kun en ole käyttänyt näin leveitä housuja varmaan viiteentoista vuoteen.. Tästä trendistä saattaa tulla tämän vuoden kesäjuttuni!

Gosh it's been raining the whole day in Helsinki! I'm suuuper jetlagged so I woke up at 4 in the morning and started to make breakfast haha.. Then had a second breakfast at press-office/showroom Miltton and said hi to the lovely girls there. I got these new pieces from the Angelica Blick for BikBok collection, so happy and flattered! I've always admired her style, blog and the passion with which she runs it, the quality and energy is always a 110%. This gorgeous bag from her collection feels so much like me stylewise, and at the same time exactly like her, so it's really fun that I get to style and incorporate it into my own looks and outfits.

Huoh, voisiko tämä sade jo loppua? Losin jälkeen on ollut äärettömän vaikeaa pukeutua taas Suomessa. Kylmää, märkää, ja sukkahousut näyttävät vain niin kamalilta kaiken kanssa! Heräsin jetlagiini kello 4 yöllä, ja aloin innoissani väsäämään heti aamiaista :D Söinkin seuraavan aamiasen Milttonin showroomilla Fazerin pressiaamiaisella samalla kun kävin paluttamassa kuvauslainoja ja moikkaamassa ihania Milttonin tyttöjä! Sain tämän paidan ja laukun Angelica Blick for BikBokin mallistosta, olen niin iloinen ja imarreltu! Olen aina arvostanut ja pitänyt hänen tyylistä, blogista ja hänen uskomattomasta intohimosta ylläpitää sitä, kuvien laatu ja energia on aina 110%. Tämä kaunis laukku hänen mallistostaan tuntuu samalla aivan minun tyyliseltä ja samalla ihan Angelican tyyliltä, eli olen superinnoissani siitä että pääsen stailaamaan sen omalla tavallani.

The ones of you who follow me on instagram (martinamartiala) already know what this M stands for ;) Nope, unfortunately not yet "Martina for President" but for the Danish brand Minimum! Tomorrow bright and early I'm attending their sample sale, can't wait!! Now I have to hurry to bed, I'm still a little woozy from my post-fashionweek-flu. 

Te jotka seuraatte minua instagramissa tiedätte jo ehkä mitä tuo M-kirjain edustaa ;) Ei kuitenkaan ihan vielä "Martina for President", vaan ihanaa tanskalaista Minimum merkkiä. Ostin muuten tämän kauluspaita-leggings setin tänään Selected Femmen remppa-alesta Aleksanterinkadulta, kannattaa käydä kurkistamassa mitä sieltä löytyy! Tänään on ollut ihana positiivinen ja aurinkoinen päivä keuhkoputkentulehduksesta huolimatta, nyt nukkumaan sillä huomenna herätyskello pirisee aikaisin herättämään Minimumin ystävämyynteihin. Woop woop!!

Even if I feel the trackpant trend is over,  I couldn't help but click in on a closer view on these trackpants from asos.com. They look perfect for winter, I especially like the cool pattern of pant nr.1(besides they look sooo soft and warm) and the quilted pant nr.2!

Flower sleeveless shirt/Monki 

I'm not really ever a flower girl, even in summer, but somehow the idea of wearing them in winter inspires me more. These colours are so wonderfully cold and icy too! I think even just a glimpse of the collar showing underneath a thick white knitted sweater will look great!
