Rainy Copenhagen

Hello from Denmark! This is what I was wearing yesterday in the rainy, grey but still oh so beautiful Copenhagen. My hair is pink again, always cheers me up in the darker than dark pre-winter days when we only have light until 4 o'clock in the afternoon in Scandinavia. Tonight is my last night here so we're going out, first we're going to see a cool hiphop documentary about the Los Angeles based record company Stones Throw Records! Can't wait to have some fun with my girls.

Kuten näette tukka on taas kerran pinkki, tarvitsin jotain piristävää näihin pimeisiin syksyisiin päiviin ;) Tänään on viimeinen ilta ennen Suomeen paluuta joten luvassa on drinkkejä tytskyjen kanssa, sekä ensin hiphop-dokkariesitys Stones Throw Recordsista, Los Angeleslaisesta levy-yhtiöstä. My look on the last day of Milan Fashion Week, snitched the photo from carolinesmode.com/stockholmstreetstyle!
I felt like I had already used everything in my suitcase and that nothing was fun anymore, but I managed to put together a last effort for the Missoni show :) The pants are from the upcoming Matthew Williamson for Lindex collection (coming to stores next saturday), clutch is Marimekko, shoes Topshop, top Bikbok and the jacket is Henrik Vibskov. Of course, after a 10-day long party and work filled stay in Italy I have the flu AGAIN! I have a million things to do so I'm trying to eat super healthy and get enough sleep in these days. Loads of fruit and veggies for me!

Koska siirsin viime hetkessä paluulentoani parilla päivällä tuntui että ei ollut enää mitään hauskaa matkalaukussa, hirveä tunne muotiviikolla! Tämän asun ehdin heittää päälle viidessä minuutissa menossa Missonin näytökseen hahah.. Housut ovat Lindexin ja Matthew Williamsonin kokoelmasta (ensi lauantaina kauppoissa), toppi Bikbokista, kengät Topshopista, laukku on Marimekolta ja takki on Henrik Vibskovin.
10 päivän hullun juoksemisen näytöksestä toiseen ja juhlimisen jälkeen kehoni antoi tietysti taas periksi, ja olen superflunssassa. :( Täällä Suomessa on muuten jo ihan äärettömän kylmä brr! Haluan takaisin lämpöön..

How to: Dye Your Hair at Home.

Colour after 1 wash.

 So, here are the steps I followed to get this ombré-ish messy punk haircolour! Basicly what you first need, is an attitude that no matter what happens, you will rock this new hairdo. Confidence is key! ;)

I used the Crestol Fantasy colour Funky Purple, since I wanted a colour that was in between violet and pink. The colour scared me at first since it's reeeally dark, but it is easy to lighten up with conditioner.

FIN: Eli tässä vähän tarkemmat ohjeet tämän hiusvärin tekemiseen! Alkuun tarvitaan tottakai kickass attitude että mitä tahansa tapahtuikin, ne ovat vain hiuksia, ja rokkaatte niitä kuitenkin. ;) Confidence is key!

Käytin Crestol Fantasyn väriä Funky Purple, koska halusin värin joka ei ollut liian violetti eikä liian pinkki. Väri näyttää purkissa tooodella tummalta mikä pelotti alkuun, mutta sitä on tosi helppo vaalentaa hoitoaineella.

Step 1: Make sure your hair is clean and shampooed, but not conditioned. Mix the colour in a plastic bowl with conditioner to get the shade you want. The colour now is going to be almost exactly as it will look on your hair when it's dry and ready so keep that in mind! Also, it's good that the conditioner is a really basic one, not a super treating, repairing or other. And make sure to wear gloves, this colour stained really easily!

Vaihe1: Hiusten pitää olla puhtaat ja pesdyt (ei hoitoaineella) ja ilman lakkaa tai muita aineita. Sekoita vähän väriä hoitoaineen kanssa muovikippoon saadaksesi haluamasi sävyn. Tässä vaiheessa väri näyttää jo melkein tismalleen samalta kuin lopputuloksessa, hyvä pitää mielessä! On myös parempi käyttää ihan tavallista hoitoainetta eikä supertehokasta hoitavaa tai muita erikoishoitoaineita. Ja käyttäkää hanskoja, koska tämä väri tahraa todella helposti ja on vaikea saada pois iholta tai muilta pinnoilta!

 

2. I started with my ends and a slightly midtone shade. 10minutes and It came out such a delicious berry-colour, sorry for the bad iphone picture!  I dried my hair to see the final colour, mixed another set with even more conditioner and a drop of colour, and applied it to the whole hair from roots to ends, kept the colour for only two minutes. Just applying it with the hands and not combing it through made it a more natural, messy colour, and the two-fase application made it a cool ombré!

2. Aloitin pelkästään latvoista keskisävyllä, jotta siitä ei tulisi vahingossa liian tumma. Siitä tuli kymmenessä minuutissa aivan syötävän marjaisa sävy, ei näy kunnolla tässä huonossa iPhone kuvassa. Kuivasin hiukset, sekoitin toisen setin väriä (tällä kertaa vähän vaaleamman) ja levitin sen sotkuisesti koko tukkaan aloittaen juurista. Kampaamalla hiukset sen jälkeen läpi, väristä tulee tasaisempi, minä skippasin sen vaiheen kokonaan. :)  Pidin väriä päässä ainoastaan pari minuuttia ja se riitti hyvin!

 

 

This was the result. Quite bright but only after one wash it turned out like on the first picture. It's nice since you definitely don't get bored while to colour keeps changing from wash to wash!


Tässä tulos! Aika kirkas mutta jo yhden pesun jälkeen siitä tuli ensimmäisen kuvan näköinen. Hauskaa että väri jatkaa muuttumistaan joka pesun jälkeen, tähän ei todellakaan kyllästy helpolla! :)

Hot Pink Hair.

 

Fiiiiinally had the courage to colour my hair a hot pink-violet colour!! :) What do you think? It's kind of punky and sweet at the same time. I've been celebrating finnish midsummer in Sarahs wonderful cottagehouse by the water for two days, we had such a great time even though I unfrotunately had an infection in my wisdom tooth and had to eat painkillers and antibiotics all the time. I'll write you more about the colour and how I did the colour if you guys are interested? Have a great sunday!♥


Uskalsin VIHDOIN värjätä hiukseni vaaleanpunaisiksi/liilaksi! :D Mitä mieltä olette? Vähän punkahtava mutta kuitenkin söpö väri musta. Ollaan vietetty juhannusta Sarahin ihanalla kesämökillä veden ääressa viikonloppuna, vähän harmitti että viisaudenhammas päätti tulehtua juuri nyt koska sain popsia kipulääkkeitä ja antibiootteja muiden juhliessa. Mutta hauskaa oli silti! Ja niiin rentouttavaa. Lisää kuvia sieltä huomenna :) Kirjoitan myös mielelläni enemmän miten ja millä värjäsin tukan jos teitä kiinnostaa? Ihanaa sunnuntaita!♥

New In + L.A!

New In: Bikini and Bra from H&M! I am in love with this bandage-style right now, it kind of reminds me of the luxurious Hervé Léger bandage dresses! The bra is so super soft and comfortable, and being so colourful underneath the winter clothes cheers me up so incredibly much! :)
And I can't wait to wear this bikini in L.A... That's right-L.A!! I'm going there in May for work, going to style the models and myself for the ads for a new camera they are launching this summer! Wooop woop!

Uutuksia tipahti eilen postiluukusta sisään, rintsikat ja bikini H&M:stä! Olen niin ihastunut tähän bandage-tyyliin, muistuttavat vähän Hervé Légerin luksusmekkoja. Materiaalit on niin ihanan superpehmeitä, ja vaikka tyhmältä kuulostaakin niin piristyn tosi paljon siitä että on positiivisen värikkäät alusvaatteet paksujen talvivaatteiden alla! :D 
Enkä malta odottaa että saan kokeilla biksuja L.Assa....KYLLÄ, L.Assa!! Saan nimittäin paljastaa nyt että olen menossa sinne toukokuussa stailaamaan pari mallia ja itseni uuden kameran mainoskuviin :) Jännittävää!

Blue and pink combo today! I wound up buying this furry coat-cardigan from Harajuku since a crazy cold-windy-sandstorm started! Feels very japanese doesn't it? :) Everything here is so cute and pink and sweet, compared to my friends here I feel like a complete tomboy haha!

Sini-pinkki combo tänään :) Jouduin ostamaan tämän karvatakin Harajukusta hullun hiekkamyrskyn alkaessa! Se näyttää mielestäni niin japanilaiselta! Kaikki täällä on söpöä ja vaaleanpunaista ja herttaista, ja ystäviini verrattuna täällä olen todellinen tomboy :D hassua!

It's crazy how fast the days go by in Tokyo, I feel I don't have any spare time at all! Is it like this in all major cities?New York maybe? Just going from one place to another seems to take ages and three different trains to get there... Well this is what I've been up to lately anyway. Some snaps from Hong Kong and the three first ones are from Tokyo! I'll post some pics later from Harajuku, I'm in love with the shopping there! Especially the vintage shopping, it's amazing!

New In: Winter Flowers

I'm not really ever a flower girl, even in summer, but somehow the idea of wearing them in winter inspires me more. These colours are so wonderfully cold and icy too! I think even just a glimpse of the collar showing underneath a thick white knitted sweater will look great!

New In: Dip Dyed Angora

 

Dip dyed angora sweater from Cubus! This baby pink fade to a dark burgundy will fit my fall wardrobe like a glove! This would also make a nice and easy DIY project! Angora is a natural fiber so it colours wonderfully with an even tone!

These babies will be my new summer companions! I love that it's a sporty tennis-shoe design but it's still very girly. I also especially like the mix of materials, the powder pink leather imitation with the shiny sole. <3 I can already see them with high waisted denim shorts and over-the-knee socks!
I changed the shoelaces to these simple white ones though, the original ones we're horrible!
