Wowowow what a sh*tload of photos I put up this time, couldn't help it since it's always so much fun to shoot with Sara! The location we chose was the Velodrome in Helsinki, which has a very even and soft light everywhere, thus making it the perfect venue for fashion photography-lovers like us. Today's post is all about the 90's, inspired by my new kicks from iconic Finnish brand Karhu. Did you know they actually designed the three Adidas stripes way back, but then sold them during a blurry nightly event over two bottles of whiskey? These sneakers finally bring a little bit of colour to my monochromatic sneaker-selection.

Käytiin tänään pyöräilystadonilla kurkkaamassa jos siitä olisi kuvauspaikaksi, ja niinkuin sattuikin siellä oli mahdottoman ihana, tasainen valo jota tällaiset muotivalokuvaushörhöt rakastaa. Tästä taitaakin tulla vakkaripaikka. Esittelyssä syötävän söötit ysärihenkiset Karhu-lenkkarini, jotka tuovat mustavalkoiseen lenkkarivalikoimaani vihdoinkin vähän väriä. Tiesittekö te muuten, että Karhu aikoinaan myi luomansa "kolme raitaa" logon Adidakselle kahdesta viskipullosta?

Ever since I got my first pair of Nike Air Max Theas, it's been impossible to go back to any other sneakers. It has to be without a doubt the most comfortable sneaker I have ever tried, and when this pair with this kick-ass grey-camo print arrived in the mail I've been nonstop using them for a week! Thanks again DefShop! Today's ootd is all about comfyness, and soft grey shades. I feel a bit of a high-school vibe in the first pic due to the backpack and all the jersey haha.. Totally reflecting my lazy-comfy-monday vibe.

Ensimmäisten Nike Air Max Thea-lenkkareideni jälkeen on ollut mahdoton palata vansseihin tai muihin lenkkareihin. Ne ovat hands down mukavimmat kengät mitä olen ikinä koittanut, ja kun nämä kuvassa näkyvät ihanuudet harmaalla camo-printillä tulivat postissa, en ole käyttänyt muita kenkiä viikkoon! Päivän asun avainsana on mukavuus; pehmeät trikoomateriaalit ja harmaat sävyt kuvastavat juuri tämän päivän vapun jälkeistä lazy-moodiani.

Today's outfit snapped after my fun day styling Finnish singer Anna Puu! Crazy happy about my profession and that it (almost) never feels like work... This week is going to be event-filled and so much fun, Autumn-Winter 15 press days are starting, can't wait!

Räpsin pikaisen päivän outfitin palattuani kotiin ihanan Anna Puun kuvausten jälkeen. On niin upeeta kun työ ei tunnu (melkein) koskaan työltä! Tästä viikosta tulee todella tapahtumarikas ja hauska, Syksy-Talvi15 mallistojen pressipäivät alkavat nyt, en malta odottaa!

All greys and blues today (fortunately not a mental state!!), the sun has been shining all day in Helsinki and it feels like spring is most definitely on it's way, yay!

I have been loving different outfit combos of 50 shades of grey lately (even though I haven't seen the movie or read the book), and since it was such a positive vibe in the air today the denim blue perfectly brights up the whole look. I also wanted a super tomboy-yet-chic look so fur and sneakers it izzzz!

Harmaa ja sininen toimivat tänään vahvasti päivän asun inspiraationa, tavoitellen silti raikasta eikä liian tunkkaista asukokonaisuutta. Oli niin ihanan aurinkoinen päivä Helsingissä, joimme Jennin kanssa teetä ja juttelimme elämästä, mutta olimme samalla todella efektiivisiä ja räpsittiin päivän asut tee-deittimme päätteeksi. Mulla oli heti aamusta poikatyttömäinen fiilis, joten oversize-farkkupaita, revityt farkut ja sneakerit saivat vaastakohdaksi supernaisellisen tekoturkiksen.

I usually never do postings with foodpictures or daily stuff I'm doing since I consider this blog to be my creative little escape into the fashion world. But today has simply been so fun And so yummy that I have to share It! We've been hangover-brunching around all day in Kuala Lumpur, having great coffee and amaaaaazing food! Another throwback from the fashion weeks! I just recieved these from Zhi-Wei, who was snapping streetstyle shots in London for lookbook.nu. So fun to look back at these photos now, especially since winter is back in Finland and we have a terrible snow-blizzard here. Could summer just come already?!

Got this awesome Popcorn-sweater in the mail the other day from the webstore Mr.Gugu&Miss Go! 

Printed sweatshirts have been around for a while already and I usually think I'll get bored after wearing a piece like this once or twice, but somehow in my eyes this popcorn-print is strangely calm :D

Printtisvetareita onkin näkynyt jo aika kauan ja yleensä ajattelen että kyllästyn tällaisiin statement-pieceihin heti parin kerran käytön jälkeen, mutta jotenkin tämä popcorn printti ei näytä silmissäni ollenkaan räikeältä :D  A keeper it is! Back in Tokyo! Today's outfit feels so summery again, love this weather! As we don't feel to comfortable being in the city with a nuclear bomb-threat going on from North Korea, we decided to leave for a relaxing road trip to the northern part of Japan tomorrow! Looking forward to the spas, hotel beds and looong breakfasts... 

Tokiossa taas! Tässä päivän look, ihanaa olla taas lämmössä! Koska Pohjois Korea uhkaa lähettää tänne ydinpommin huomenna me lähdemme hetkeksi pois kaupungista road tripille maan pohjoiseen osaan. Odotan innolla hot springs-uimaloita, hotellisänkyjä ja pitkiä aamiaisia...

This Spring/Summer it's all bout the flats! I gathered my online-favourites in this collage, I'm totally imagining all of these with white jeans and a white t-shirt in spring.
Studs are still in the picture, as are metallics! I even grew on liking the rubber shoes from Chicnova, allthough they sligthly remind me of hospital shoes with a twist... oh well! Got yourself a favourite?
Mine are the cutout shoes from DSW or the cool golden ones from Asos!

Tänä keväänä/kesänä laitan korot piiloon ja keskityn mataliin kenkiin! Keräsin tähän kollaasiin omat online-suosikit tältä sesongilta. Pystyn niin kuvittelemaan jokaiset näistä kokovalkoisen farkku-tpaita lookin kanssa ah!
Niitit ovat näköjään vieläkin mukana trendeissä, ja kiiltävä metalli myös! Alan jopa tottua Chicnovan valkoisiin muovikenkiin vaikka ne muistuttavat heikosti tuunattuja sairaalakenkiä...

new shoes!

These babies will be my new summer companions! I love that it's a sporty tennis-shoe design but it's still very girly. I also especially like the mix of materials, the powder pink leather imitation with the shiny sole. <3 I can already see them with high waisted denim shorts and over-the-knee socks!
I changed the shoelaces to these simple white ones though, the original ones we're horrible!
