The nicest thing while being sick is recieveing a get-well-soon surprise package!! :) These leggings were in that package from Choies.com, so I of course couldn't resist wearing them at once. I often hear myself saying: It was just the right piece to complete my wardrobe ;)

Hmm has it really been over a week since my last post? Feels like time has been passing by so rapidly, I've been so incredibly busy!

Anyhow, here are some pics from the weekend I spent working at Flow Festival! It's always fun even behind the bar, even though it's about 15hours of work per day all the nice colleagues and good music make it all worth it :) We even got the chance to snap a picture with some members from Public Enemy haha! My body has given up after a marathon work-week so I'm sick in bed, again. Sigh. I'll try to get an outfit of the day tomorrow!

P.S don't you think the stud and skull nail-jewellery in the last pic is AMAZING?? I'm in love. Soon out from Make Up Store


Hoppsan, on kulunut jo yli viikko edellisestä postauksesta. Mulla on ollut ihan liian kiire selvitäkseni pelkillä 24 tunnilla vuorokaudessa!

Tässä vähän kuvia Flow Festivaalilta, olin siellä taas töissä tänä vuonna. Siellä on aina yhtä hauskaa vaikka työtunteja kertyy lähemmäs 15 joka päivä, onneksi hyvä musa ja ihanat työkaverit tekee siitä kaiken arvoista :) Päästiin myös parin Public Enemyn tyypin kanssa kuvaan, woop woop!! :D Mun kropalle työmaraton-viikko oli kuitenkin liikaa, eli olen taas kerran kipeänä peittojen alla.. Yritän kuitenkin saada napattua huomenna päivän asukuvan.

The summer it-bag is most definitely white! I'm craving for one aswell, my heart says to go for Phillip Lim 3.1 or Alexander Wang, but big purchases need big commitments. And I suck at long commitments! What If I get bored with it after summer? I think this is not a case for online shopping for me, I need to feel the bag to be able to know which one it's the one... 

Kesän it-laukku on ehdottomasti valkoinen! Itse kuolaan erityisesti Phillip Lim 3.1 tai Alexander Wangin laukkujen perään, mutta isot ostokset edellyttävät pitkiä sitoutumisia. Ja olen niissä niin huono! Mitä jos kyllästyn tuhannen euron laukkuun jo kesän jälkeen? Tässä vaiheessa en ala tilailemaan sellaista laukkua netistä vaikka nettishoppailessa tuntuukin helpommalta vinguttaa visaa. Haluan koittaa ja koskea laukkuun jotta tiedän sen olevan juuri se oikea.

First day at Tokyo Fashion Week! I had organized a surprise birthdayparty for my boyfriend at a local izakaya (place you go to have food and especially drink BEER!) so we were preeeetty hangover today. Hence the sunnies ;) I tried painting my hair with chalk, it worked! So now I have a purple dip dye for a while wippiee! Btw, ths is the amazing Anna Sui vintage faux fur-skirt I found the other week!! It was a real bargain!

Eka Tokyo Fashion Week päivä takana! Olin järjestänyt yllätys synttärijuhlat rakkaalle poikaystävälleni eilen paikallisessa izakayassa (baarimainen paikka jonne mennään syömään mutta enimmäkseen juomaan halpaa OLUTTA) joten olimme aika krapulassa tänään.. Onneksi aurinkolasit pelastavat  ;) Kokeilin eilen myös värjätä hiukset liiduilla, eli nyt mulla on liilat dipdye latvat hetken aikaa, yay! Päivän asussa se vintagekaupasta löydetty Anna Sui hame josta kerroin aikasemmin, se oli todellinen löytö!!

This Spring/Summer it's all bout the flats! I gathered my online-favourites in this collage, I'm totally imagining all of these with white jeans and a white t-shirt in spring.
Studs are still in the picture, as are metallics! I even grew on liking the rubber shoes from Chicnova, allthough they sligthly remind me of hospital shoes with a twist... oh well! Got yourself a favourite?
Mine are the cutout shoes from DSW or the cool golden ones from Asos!

Tänä keväänä/kesänä laitan korot piiloon ja keskityn mataliin kenkiin! Keräsin tähän kollaasiin omat online-suosikit tältä sesongilta. Pystyn niin kuvittelemaan jokaiset näistä kokovalkoisen farkku-tpaita lookin kanssa ah!
Niitit ovat näköjään vieläkin mukana trendeissä, ja kiiltävä metalli myös! Alan jopa tottua Chicnovan valkoisiin muovikenkiin vaikka ne muistuttavat heikosti tuunattuja sairaalakenkiä...

A darker look today to contrast the girly lime skirt from Chicnova! I feel I have only 1/1000 of my wardrobe right now, since I was only able to bring a 20kg suitcase to Japan... Sucks! :( That's why I have to improvise and grab stuff from my boyfriends closet aswell!

Fortunately, I'm waiting for 4 packages filled with goodies to arrive here! Can't wait!Now I'm off to work, xx!

Noniin.... olen saanut niin paljon hämmästeleviä kommentteja alkuperästäni, eli siis KYLLÄ, olen suomalainen :D And proud of it! Ajattelin kokeilla kirjoittaa näitä postauksia myös suomeksi, vaikka täällä Tokiossa tuntuukin siltä että en osaa puhua enää mitään kieltä täydellisesti kun pää on niin sekaisin koko ajan :) Sain siis vaan ottaa mukaan 20kilon matkalaukun tänne, tuntuu että mulla on vain 1/1000 mun vaatteista käytössä, nyyh! Niin vaikeaa keksiä hauskoja lookkeja täällä kun ei ole kuin yksi tylsä kokopitkä musta talvitakki mukana :( Onneksi mulle on tulossa pari pakettia minä päivänä tahansa, m.m yks cooleimmista takeista jota olen aikoihin nähnyt!! En malta odottaa! Nyt painun töihin, pus!

6 Looks and New In.

So, last saturday was my last in Finland, we went out and had soooo much fun, but then... I've been sick with fever in bed for 3 days. 

And I haven't even been able to open my computer from how sick I have been!! Here's a sneek peak on some last sale-shopping I did right before I partied in the cold Finnish winter and got sick :P Can't wait to wear my new shoes in the Hong Kong warm weather!!

Today's! Me in a nutshell: DIYed boots and top, DAD & MOM tattoos, red lipstick and bunch of crazyness. Fun to dress Kurt Cobainish one day and Lady Gaga styled the next isn't it?? :)

The bangles from Topshop came in an onepack and I love how they are elastic so they fit even my teeny-tiny wrists! Maybe there's an idea there for a DIY-bracelet aswell....

DIY Sleeveless Shirt.

I have this checked shirt in my closet that I had bought for really cheap somewhere and I have only used it once, but it is sooo soft and comfy I wanted to alternate it a bit and make it more interesting so I could use it more.

This 5-minute DIY works perfectly on any type of shirt that is cotton and not stretchy (if it has nylon or spandex in it the ripping will not end up like this.

I cut off the sleeves with scissors, and carefully started pulling out the threads. Depending on what kind of end result you want (clean or more grungy) you can decide if you want to pull out the threads or if you want to leave the sleeve like it is after being cut.

I added some golden studs to it and voilá! Ready. I'll post a whole outfit with the shirt later on today!

Casual Punk.

I finally got these asos trackpants in the mail, I've been waiting for them for forever since I knew they would be perfect for the Scandinavian winter weather! It's getting colder and colder and darker here, and since this is the first winter for me back home in a looong time I guess I'm more used to the Italian and Spanich type winter. Brrrrrr!

FINALLY got this cap in the mail from romwe.com today!! Likelikelike that it fits my minuscular head too, I was a bit afraid that it would look huge on me! We've been out secondhand shopping today with Julie, I brought home a jacket, some sparkling pants, a checked Dries Van Noten-ish skirt, a necklace and a XXL-sized big furry white knitted sweater! Pics of them tomorrow, now dinner ♥

New In: Belts.

 

I got belt-crazy one day and ordered these from asos.com! The metal one goes SO well with everything from tops to chunky knits, I made some extra holes to it so I can wear it tigther with light garments, and a bit wider with my boyfriends huge sweaters :) The panther-belt I haven't had time to wear yet, maybe tonight when we go out for a "monday-glass of wine"!

This is what I wore for my meetings yesterday in Helsinki! It's always sooo windy there so I wanted a hat to cover my hair, and loads of layers to keep me warm the whole day! I'm gonna be so very busy with work the coming weeks, but thankfully I can work anywhere, anytime; as long as I have my computer with me :)

DIY Studded Sweater vol.2

This is a an extremely easy, 5-minute, fashion DIY!! All you need is an old sweater and some spare studs. The only thing you have to remember is to be careful not to brake the knit with the stud, place it carefully from one of the "holes" to avoid ripping of the fabric.

Be creative! Use different coloured studs, make patterns etc... I am very minimalstic so this is how my sweater ended up looking.

DIY Studded shoes

These DIY studded shoes are so easy to make, just takes a little bit of patience and time.

I decided I wanted a sporty shoe for this DIY, also the fabric of the shoe was soft enough to facilitate the making of the holes.

First just take a white pen (i used a make-up pencil), and mark where you want the studs. Take in consideration how big the stud is, depending on how close to eachother you want the studs.

   

 

Make a hole either with the machine you use for adding holes to leather belts, 

or a nail, and attach the studs. Voilá!
